So interesting to read the way we tend to talk about dis-ease. Both in humans and in other beings.

This is useful information about Ash tree die back and yet my question is a simple shamanic one. What does this fungus – Hymenoscyphus fraxineus (yikes!) want from the Ash trees to cause such harm? What can be known about it’s intentions? How can it be discouraged in the most peaceful way possible? What does it need? What do the Ash trees need? Do healthy Ash trees with good immunity resist the chalara disease? What can be intuited? Can we humans help? When I read the word “threat” it smacks of wanting to eradicate. Expunge. This is an aspect of our current (power over) paradigm that is not serving us. https://www.forestresearch.gov.uk/tools-and-resources/pest-and-disease-resources/chalara-ash-dieback-hymenoscyphus-fraxineus/

Do you have any suggestions about what we tree lovers can do to help those managing forests and the trees themselves individually?
